Breakfast & Check-In – Network, Nourish, and Get Ready to Elevate

This workshop equips principals and assistant principals with the knowledge and tools to support high-quality ePathways at RJA. Participants will dive into the use of ePathway Maps as a framework for aligning instruction, industry connections, and student supports with the 12 Essential Elements of a High-Quality Career & College Pathway framework, used by California schools. Learn how to assess program strength, identify areas for growth, and guide teachers in delivering career-connected learning that prepares students for future success. Leaders will leave with practical strategies to ensure ePathways are rigorous, equitable, and aligned to both student interests and workforce demands.

Creating a culture of consistency begins with clearly defined expectations. This workshop supports principals and assistant principals in guiding teachers to establish effective classroom norms, routines, and academic requirements that foster positive behavior, student engagement, and instructional clarity. Participants will explore practical strategies for coaching teachers on setting, modeling, and reinforcing expectations, aligned with schoolwide systems and student success outcomes. Walk away with tools to support teachers in creating learning environments where every student knows what is expected—and is set up to meet those expectations.

Recharge, Connect, Reflect

Designed for principals and assistant principals, this workshop provides practical strategies for supervising and evaluating Career Technical Education (CTE) teachers and school counselors. For CTE, participants will learn how to anchor evaluations in the 12 Elements of a High-Quality CTE Pathway, focusing on integrated curriculum, industry alignment, student supports, and work-based learning. For school counselors, the session will focus on aligning evaluations with the California Standards for the School Counseling Profession, ensuring intentional support for students’ social-emotional learning, academic planning, and postsecondary readiness. Attendees will leave with actionable tools to lead growth-oriented observations, conduct effective coaching conversations, and promote excellence in both specialized roles.

This session provides school leaders with tools and clarity to lead the 2025–2026 observation and evaluation cycle with purpose and alignment. Participants will explore key timelines and expectations for educator evaluations, examine administrator feedback data from the May 25–June 6 Classroom Mosaic survey, and engage in collaborative discussions around setting meaningful goals for continuous improvement. Through structured reflection and planning, leaders will leave with actionable next steps to ensure transparent, supportive, and data-informed evaluation practices that build educator capacity and student success.

Principals and assistant principals will engage in collective collaboration to apply insights, tools, and strategies from the day’s workshops. This is dedicated time for site leadership teams to strategically plan, align priorities, and map out next steps for instructional leadership, observation cycles, ePathway implementation, and educator support. With a shared focus on coherence and impact, leaders will leave with clear action steps and a stronger sense of collective direction for the 2025–2026 school year.
