Sarah Todd is an accomplished educator with a passion for literacy and instructional leadership. Born and raised on Catalina Island, she embarked on her journey in education after earning her bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Education from Biola University. Driven by a desire to make a difference in the lives of students, Sarah pursued further education, attaining a Masters of Science in Education from Cal Baptist University and a Literacy Authorization from the University of Southern California. Sarah's dedication to teaching and learning led her to enter the field of education in 2012. In 2014, she joined the Real Journey Team, where she has made significant contributions over the years. Starting as a classroom teacher, Sarah's expertise and commitment to literacy education soon earned her the role of a literacy specialist within the organization. As a literacy specialist, Sarah worked tirelessly to enhance literacy instruction, develop effective strategies, and support both students and fellow educators in achieving their full potential. Her innovative approaches and deep understanding of literacy pedagogy have had a lasting impact on the educational community.
Currently serving as the Director of Instruction at Real Journey, Sarah plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's educational programs and initiatives. In this capacity, she oversees curriculum development, instructional practices, and professional development opportunities for educators. Outside of her professional pursuits, Sarah remains actively engaged in promoting literacy and education advocacy. She believes in the power of education to transform lives and is dedicated to empowering students and educators alike to reach new heights of success. With her extensive experience, academic qualifications, and unwavering commitment to excellence, Sarah Todd continues to be a driving force in the field of education, inspiring positive change and fostering a culture of learning wherever she goes.
