Marketing with Purpose
Friday June 20, 2025 9:00am - 9:30am PDT
Marketing with Purpose     Presenter: Stephan Canthal Stephan Canthal
  • Navigating the REAL Journey Marketing Site
  • Downloading logos and setting up email signatures
  • Brand integrity: Proper logo usage
  • Submitting success stories and school highlights for social media

Key Learnings

This session focused on empowering us to become active brand ambassadors by providing the tools and knowledge necessary to represent our organization effectively.
  • Centralized Marketing Resources: The REAL Journey Marketing Site is our new one-stop-shop for all marketing materials. This resource is designed to make it easy to find and use approved assets, from logos and templates to brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all our communications.
  • Brand Integrity is a Shared Responsibility: Consistent and correct use of our logo is crucial for maintaining a strong and recognizable brand identity. Improper usage, such as altering colors, stretching the logo, or using old versions, dilutes our brand's impact and can create confusion.
  • Your Stories Fuel Our Brand: The most powerful marketing content comes from the authentic successes and everyday highlights from our schools and programs. Sharing these stories is vital for showcasing our impact and connecting with our community on a deeper, more emotional level. Your contributions are the backbone of our social media presence.

Take-Aways for Activation & Next Steps

Here is how you can immediately apply what we learned:
  1. Explore the REAL Journey Marketing Site:
    • Action: Take 15 minutes this week to log in and familiarize yourself with the site.
    • Goal: Know where to find key assets when you need them.
  2. Update Your Email Signature and know where to send staff:
    • Action: Navigate to the "Brand Assets" section on the marketing site and download the official email signature template. Update your signature in your email client by the end of the day.
    • Goal: Ensure 100% team consistency in our digital correspondence.
  3. Review Proper Logo Usage:
    • Action: Download the Brand Guidelines document from the marketing site. Pay special attention to the "Logo Do's and Don'ts" section.
    • Goal: Confidently use the correct logo in the correct format for any new documents, presentations, or materials you create.
  4. Commit to Sharing Stories:
    • Action: Identify compelling student achievement, innovative classroom project, or positive community interaction from the past month, school events. Use the "Sahre Story Submission" form on the marketing site to share it.
    • Goal: Provide the marketing team with fresh content to highlight the incredible work being done across the organization.

Remind your staff of all this, but I will also review with them during the large PD meeting.
